In 2007, I was entrusted with my very first international project in the United States — a Gas Compressor Unit with Accessories (Project No. PGS-873). The system was delivered as a skid-mounted package that included a rotary screw compressor, oil reservoir/separator, shell-and-tube coolers, oil pump, filters, and a control panel.
My role focused on the mechanical design:
Pressure vessels — ensuring structural integrity and compliance with international codes.
Compressor placement — optimizing layout for smooth installation and safe maintenance access.
Oil separator — designing for efficient oil recovery and system reliability.
Piping layout — planning connections for safety, performance, and long-term durability.
This project was more than a technical assignment; it was my first step onto the global engineering stage. It taught me how critical precision, safety, and teamwork are when delivering solutions across borders. Looking back, it remains a proud milestone in my journey as a mechanical design engineer. 3.1 Operation Instruction manual
