🎵 City of False Lights
by Raffi Rahman (Sasteria)
Under the city lights, they called my name,
Promises of freedom, but all felt the same.
My heart was torn, between truth and disguise,
Yā Allāh, open my eyes.
(La ilaha illa Allah)
(Ya Rabb, ihdini – O Lord, guide me)
(SubhanAllah, nuruka la yakhbū – Glory be to Allah, Your light never fades)
You guide me through the night.
They said, “Be modern, take off the past,”
But empty laughter can never last.
I won’t surrender what anchors my soul,
With Qur’an in my hands, I am whole.
Allahu Akbar (الله أكبر),
du‘a’i yartafi‘ (دعائي يرتفع – my prayer rises high),
Yadayya ilā al-sama, ‘ayni ilā al-sama (يدَيَّ إلى السماء، عيني إلى السماء – my hands to the sky, my eyes to the heavens).
La ilaha illa Allah (لا إله إلا الله), Your love will never die.
Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim (يا رحمن يا رحيم),
Aslih qalbi, a‘ṭini al-īmān (أصلح قلبي، أعطني الإيمان – Heal my heart, grant me faith).
Ya Malik, Ya Kareem (يا ملك يا كريم),
Bidūnika hayat bātila (بدونك حياة باطلة – Without You life is meaningless).
La ilaha illa Allah (لا إله إلا الله),
Anta noori ya Allah (أنت نوري يا الله – You are my light, O Allah).
SubhanAllah, nuruka yattali’ (سبحان الله – Your light shines bright),
Guide me to Jannah’s light.
La ilaha illa Allah)
(Du‘ā’ī yartafi‘u – my prayer rises high)
(Yadayya ilā al-samā’, ‘aynī ilā al-samā’ – my hands to the sky,
my eyes to the sky)
Your love will never die.
(Ya Rahmān, Ya Rahīm – O Most Merciful, Most Compassionate)
(Asliḥ qalbī, a‘ṭinī al-īmān – Heal my heart, grant me faith)
Ya Malik, Ya Karīm – O King, O Generous One)
(Bidūnika ḥayātun bāṭilah – Without You, life is meaningless
(Anta nūrī yā Allah – You are my light, O Allah) (SubhanAllah, nuruka la yakhbū – Glory be to Allah, Your light never fades)
Guide me to Jannah’s light.
🎵 The Shiny Bargain
by Raffi Rahman (Sasteria)
He said, “You’re beautiful, why hide your face?
The world is open, come take your place.”
His words were sweet, but they carried a sting,
A love without Allah is an empty thing.
(Astaghfirullāh – I seek forgiveness from Allah) (SubhanAllah, nuruka yahdīnī – Glory be to Allah, Your light guides me)
Protect my heart from this bargain’s lie.
Roses and gifts, candlelight glow,
Promises of freedom, but my soul says no.
A house without Qur’an, a love without prayer,
It shines on the surface, but nothing is there.
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ (La ilaha illa Allah) يَا رَبِّ، قَوِّ إِيمَانِي (Ya Rabb, qawwi īmānī – O Lord, strengthen my faith) سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ، حُبُّكَ أَبْقَى (SubhanAllah, ḥubbuka abqā – Glory be to Allah, Your love remains forever)
Your mercy lifts me high.
He offered the world if I’d give up my soul,
But faith is the crown, it makes me whole.
What shines today will vanish tomorrow,
Without Allah, it’s only sorrow.
(Ya nūra al-samāwāti wa-l-ard – O Light of the heavens and the earth) (SubhanAllah, nuruka yahdīnī – Glory be to Allah, Your light guides me)
I choose Your truth, not his bargain’s lie.
🎵 Do Not Trade My Guidance
by Raffi Rahman (Sasteria)
She whispered with tears, “I gave him my all, I left my prayers, and now I fall. I traded my faith for a fleeting embrace,* And now I am lost in an empty place.”
(La ilaha illa Allah)
(Raḥmatuka akbaru min dhanbī – Your mercy is greater than my sin) (SubḥānAllāh, ‘udtu ilayk – Glory be to Allah, I return to You)
Do not let me trade Your guidance again.
Elif held the Qur’an, her tears ran deep,
The words of Allah, her soul did keep.
“Don’t sell My guidance for a little gain,”
The truth revived her heart again.
(La ilaha illa Allah)
(Ya Rabb, uthbit qalbī – O Lord, make my heart firm) سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ، ight has guided me(SubḥānAllāh, hadānī nūruk – Glory be to Allah, Your( سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ، هَدَانِي نُورُكَ l)
I will not trade my soul again. Yā Allāh, the city lights fade, But Your Word remains, it will never decay. Love without You is a rose cut away, It blooms for a moment, then withers away. (Anta ghufrānī wa-rajā’ī – You are my forgiveness and my hope) (SubḥānAllāh, anta ma‘ī – Glory be to Allah, You are with me) I will not trade Your light for this world again. (Astaghfirullāh – I seek forgiveness from Allah) (La ilaha illa Allah)
🎵 Light Over the City
by Raffi Rahman (Sasteria)

Anwar al-madina (أنوار المدينة – city lights), they whisper to me, “Be modern, be free,” but it leaves a scar. Lan ufaddi imani (لن أفدي إيماني – I won’t sacrifice my faith),
